À propos
THE PHOTOGRAPHER
"My pictures have many roots: my French origins,
my American embrace, my Queer culture, my Buddhist affinities..."

ESSENCE
I like to capture the essence of a place I have visited or a moment I have lived. On my search for animal or human models, I also try to capture unusual vantage points, interesting lines and striking colors, in a landscape or the urban architecture.
PATIENCE
The fauna I observe around the city or during my travels requires attention to spot, patience to stalk and the ability to let go when I miss a shot — it is quite meditative.
As a naturalist by training, I also feel the excitement of capturing biodiversity and rare species. And then the sheer beauty, in its most minute details, just takes your breath away.

HUMANITY
I photograph people because I want to display the humanity and physical beauty that every person holds.
Pride is a personal and unique moment, one when the beauty and diversity of humanity expresses itself freely, in an explosion of joy and colors. But it is also a moment for remembrance, awareness and activism. Visibility is essential for LGBTQ+ acceptance and each portrait is an act of witness — to testify that queer reality is undeniable.
LIGHT
In Sanskrit, Prakāśa means light.
But it also stands for visible, clear, manifest, splendor, brightness or revelation. It is the light that shines on the world and from within it and that, ultimately, is what photography is.
